We produce all styles of Windsor chair from the traditional stick back chairs, to splat backs and even Windsor chairs with cabriole

At J.M.J Holland we strive to provide the upmost quality to all aspects of our chairs.
All the seats are carved out of a single solid piece of oak. This deeply shaped seat is extremely comfortable and gives it a look of  outstanding quality.

The long sticks in the back that go through the arm hoop are turned from a single piece of wood to allow flexibility whilst still remaining extremely strong.

Four bent hoops are used for each of our Windsor chairs. These are steamed and bent out of a solid piece of oak, and whilst this is a lot more difficult than using ash or laminated oak, we believe that the quality of the finished product is far superior than using different types of timber in one chair
